Our Team

Brianna Aaron is the founder of Beyond the Flow, a platform shaped by her decade-long journey in competitive speech and debate. As a first-generation college student from a low-income background, debate became her gateway to opportunity—earning her the Duke’s and Bailey Award as the top Lincoln-Douglas debater in the country, multiple national championships, and a New Jersey Governor’s Proclamation. These honors secured her a full-ride merit scholarship to Wake Forest University, where she graduated magna cum laude with dual degrees and multiple academic research awards.

Brianna is a Public Policy & International Affairs (PPIA) Fellow and has worked globally—including in the U.K. Parliament. Today, she works in fintech consulting, where she designs digital tools that help simplify retirement planning for Fortune 500 firms and has presented AI innovation strategies to executive leadership. Outside of consulting, she’s deeply committed to mentorship and youth empowerment: she coaches debaters who’ve earned national titles, volunteers with equity-focused initiatives, and is currently pursuing her TEFL certification to expand access to education across borders.

Through Beyond the Flow, Brianna hopes to uplift others forging nontraditional paths—helping them see their lived experience not as a barrier, but as a foundation for leadership.

Amanda Fiucci, People Talent

Amanda has been involved with non-profits since she was in fourth grade and has been doing social media since her time in undergrad at Coastal Carolina University. Amanda had always loved helping others, and after getting into social media, she has made it her goal to manage non-profit’s social media pages. Working with non-profits are some of her fondest memories and helped her grow from childhood into adulthood.

She has accumulated over 26k followers on TikTok. Amanda has collaborated and partnered with brands such as Skims, Tarte, CupShe, C4 Energy, and GymReaper. She has also been invited to Miami Swim Week in 2024 as a Cupshe influencer.

Currently, she is a master’s student in communication at Wake Forest University and serves as the social media manager for the university’s debate team. She hopes to make a career out of social media management for non-profits and eventually get her PhD in communication. Amanda is excited to bring her skills to BTF and continue to learn new techniques. In her free time, she likes to hike, be around friends and loved ones, travel, and take photos.

FAQs

General

Beyond the Flow is a creative platform and community designed to uplift nontraditional voices. Through digital contests, storytelling, and community networks, we help people with unique backgrounds to share their stories and build influence.

Our platform is for anyone with or seeking a nontraditional path in life–first-gen college students, immigrants, creatives, independent learners, and highly skilled talent who are redefining success on their own terms.

Beyond the Flow LLC is our creative arm focused on fueling innovation through enterprise via projects like storytelling contests and workshops.

We’re in the process of forming the Beyond the Flow Foundation, our nonprofit branch dedicated to mission-driven programs that serves youth and underrepresented communities. In the coming months, we’ll be rolling out scholarships for nontraditional students.

Both branches work together to uplift unheard voices–the Foundation drives long-term impact through service initiatives while the LLC creates revenue-generating projects and jobs for the people involved with our mission.
